RSA Student Awards

    This brief was part of the RSA Student Design Awards 2010 and required a set of stamps that celebrated British Fashion. 

    I decided to use the work of Vivienne Westwood for this project as she is such an iconic designer and national treasure. I think that she epitomises wonderful British humour, determination, and creativity.  I chose some of her signature pieces (including the famous shoes that Naomi Campbell fell off) in red, white and blue to really emphasise Britishness. Alongside celebrating British Fashion, these stamps could also be used to mark Dame Westwood’s 70th birthday in April 2011.
